Great Halberd of Hihiragi Description

"A mythological halberd said to be given to Yamato Takeru by his father in place of an army after being commanded to march east. It is made for long swings and is as sharp as a spear. After returning from the western provinces, Yamato Takeru lamented at his father's harsh treatment of his men, however his aunt, worried that he might do something rash, gave him the fabled sword Kusanagi—no—tsurugi in an attempt to reason with him. After marching east, Yamato Takeru established a sanctuary at lzumoiwai Shrine in Iruma of Musashi province (present—day central Saitama prefecture), where he enshrined the halberd with the edge of the blade facing northeast."
