Kaido Axe Description
"A legendary axe said to be the favored weapon of the great hero Sakata Kintoki, commonly known as Kintaro in his youth. Raised in the wilderness near Mount Ashigara, he gained his fabled strength by wrestling with wild bears as a child. In fact, "kaido" means "a child of a great strength." When he grew up, Kintaro became a vassal to Minamoto-no-Yorimitsu and slew Shuten Doji, a demon who was terrorizing Kyoto. However, he came down with a fever in Mimasaka province while traveling to Kyushu and perished."
