Spirit Wind is an Axe Skill in Nioh. 

 

Spirit Wind Description

  • Mid stance only. Slams the enemy while parrying their attack.

Notes

  • This skill is not a parry. It is an attack with block frames in the beggining.
  • Damage is lower than most proper parries, but it can be used as one
  • It is useful for standing in front of a namahagane, blocking an attack, and breaking the horn. Against yoki, it is generally worse than high stance or titanic strength because blocking works worse, and the extra range of those attacks helps more against yoki
