Stat Breakpoints
The following are Stat Breakpoints in Nioh.
General
-
There are a number of stats you get by simply surpassing certain level breakpoints.
-
At level 5, you will automatically gain 2 Samurai Skill Points, 2 Ninja Skill Points and 2 Onmyo Magic Skill Points.
-
You will get another 2 Samurai Skill Points (no Ninja, no Magic) for every additional 5 levels, up until Lvl 90.
-
After Lvl 216, you will get 4 Samurai Skill Points every single time you level up.

All stats increase your Life. Body and Stamina increase it the most. At higher levels, the Life gain gets somewhat reduced.
-
Maximum stat required to get all armor passives in the game is 19. Light armor requires up to 19 Body & Skill. Medium Armor requires up to 19 Body & Strength. Heavy armor requires up to 19 Stamina & Strength.

You will have access to every Guardian Spirit passive in the game, at 34 Spirit.
-
Guardian Spirits can be leveled to Lvl 30 after unlocking Way of the Strong.

Guardian Spirits can be leveled to Lvl 40 after unlocking Way of the Demon.
-
Guardian Spirits can be leveled to Lvl 50 after unlocking Way of the Wise.
-
Guardian Spirits can be leveled to Lvl 60 after unlocking Way of the Nioh.

Way of the Nioh will allow you to raise stats up to 200, but normally they're capped at 99. Your maximum level stays the same at 750.

Body
-
Life gains interact with base level, but are generally higher when compared with other stats, including Stamina.

The first points in Body will get +40 Life if you are at a low level, but +32 Life if you are at lvl 400.

The following results come from testing from level 1 upwards.

Life goes up +40/point at 6 Body.

Life goes up +35/point between 6 and 8 Body.

Life goes up +30/point between 8 and 10 Body.

Life goes up +25/point between 10 and 99 Body.

Life goes up +15/point between 99 and 103 Body. (Way of the Nioh only)

Life goes up +10/point between 103 and 200 Body. (Way of the Nioh only)

Resistance to Poison and Paralysis goes up +1 point at 6 Body.

Resistance to Poison and Paralysis goes up +1 point per 5 points in Body between 6 and 51 Body.

Resistance to Poison and Paralysis (from Body) hardcaps at +10 at 51 Body.

You gain +1 Samurai Skill Point at 6 Body.

You gain +0.5 Samurai Skill Point per point in Body, between 6 Body and 98 Body.

You gain +1 Samurai Skill Point at 99 Body.

You gain +1 Samurai Skill Point per point in Body, between 99 and 200 Body (Way of the Nioh only)
Heart

Ki goes up +2/point between 5 and 15 Heart.

Ki goes up +0.33/point between 90 and 99 Heart.

Ki from Heart hardcaps at +73 which is at 99 Heart.

Equipment Weight Max goes up +1.0/point at 6 Stamina.
