Swallowtail Armor: Do is a Torso Armor in Nioh

Swallowtail Armor: Do Description

"Upper body armor of the "okegawa-do" type, its incredibly understated design does away with flashy ornamention. It is made by fixing long, thick iron plates vertically. Part of a traditional armor set known as Tosei-gusoku in Japanese, this armor was worn by the warlord Gamo Ujisato, who was born in Omi province (present-day Shiga prefecture). Ujisato was discovered by Oda Nobunaga at a young age, and given an important position where he participated in various military campaigns across the country. He was given the baptismal name "Leon" when he converted to Christianity. Under the orders of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, he was relocated to Aizu (present-day western Fukushima prefecture), where he fought against Date Masamune, and died young due to illness. He learned the art of tea-making as one of Rikyu's disciples, and was an expert at evaluating teaware and battle-gear."
