Blue Dragon is the Guardian Spirit of Date Masamune.
Guardian Spirits can be chosen to provide the player with certain benefits.
Activate Living Weapon by pressing + (B + Y on Xbox/Steam controller) when the Amrita Gauge is full.


Worshiped since ancient times as the sacred protector of the east, the Blue Dragon represents the wind elemental. With close associations to springtime, the season of flourishing vegetation and new life, the Blue Dragon is said to watch over energetic and ambitious adolescents. In certain regions, people revere this divine creature as a symbol of the Japanese Emperor, but the Blue Dragon is said never to protect those who are shallow or insincere. As such, in order to gain acceptance from the Blue Dragon, one must accomplish deeds so great as to have their name live on in eternity once they have left the mortal world.

How to Obtain

Strategies and Notes

  • The Guardian Spirit Talisman effect involves summoning Blue Dragon, who will then remain by the player's side for some time. Eventually Blue Dragon will attack enemies at close to medium proximity and inflict considerable Wind damage. This spell is very effective at inflicting Wind Attack Debuffs. More information is needed on what exactly causes Blue Dragon to trigger his attack.
  • Blue Dragon offers superb Ki regeneration and powerful enhancements to close range combat and Wind damage. He also offers the ability to guard effectively against elemental damage, which can combine with similar effects on armor to negate elemental damage through guard almost entirely.

Might Rate at which the Living Weapon gauge decreases if you are hit while using the Living Weapon.
Action Rate at which the Living Weapon gauge is reduced when you consume Ki while using the Living Weapon. The higher it is, the more you can use it.
Recovery Rate at which the Living Weapon gauge recovers when you absorb Amrita while using a Living Weapon.
Tenacity The effectiveness of a Living Weapon that is active when your Life is under a certain level.
Amrita Gauge Rate The rate at which you gain Amrita. The higher it is, the qicker the gauge fills. When the Amrita gauge hits maximum, you can invoke a Living Weapon.
