Kago-tsurube Muramasa & Inoshishi-giri Description
"A famous set of long and short katana forged in Muramasa style by swordsmiths from Ise Province. Kago-tsurube, the larger sword, possesses an especially keen edge--just as a basket ("kago") used in place of a bucket ("tsurube") will hold no liquid, nor will a single water droplet rest on this sword's blade, such is its sharpness. The shorter Inoshishi-giri ("Boar Cutter") was used by Sakai Tadatsugu of the Tokugawa clan to hunt wild boars. It was crafted by Fujiwara Masazane, a Muramasa school swordsmith who moved to Mikawa Province, forging such weapons as Honda Tadakatsu's favored spear the Tombo-giri ("Dragonfly Cutter")."
