Kimibanzai Tomonari Description

"An odachi forged by the famed swordsmith Tomonari of the Kobizen style in Bizen province (present-day southeastern Okayama prefecture). This sword was worn by Taira no Norimori. Wielding the blade during the Battle of Ichi-no-Tani, Norimori was able to restore honour to the Taira clan after its previous losses and attempted to pull the clan back from annihilation at Dan-no-Ura, but was defeated and it is said that both he and the sword were lost at sea. This odachi is lightly curved and is capable of both thrusting and slicing, with its weight lending great power to each strike."
