Legendary Strategist's Garb: Kutsu Description
"Low shoes based on the footwear of foreign missioneries, they were made to suit Japanese clothing, and provided less of a strain on the legs than traditional straw sandals. This clothing is modelled after that of a famous strategist and was worn by Kuroda Kanbei when he served Toyotomi Hideyoshi as his strategist. Kanbei came to serve under Hideyoshi during the Oda army's attack on the Chugoku region, and used his talent for strategy to support Hideyoshi's rule over Japan. Though known as a Christian warlord at one point, Kanbei would later in life shave his head and take the name of Josui. His often complicated life led to him taking an adaptable approach towards the world, which can be seen in his Japanese clothing featuring foreign influences."
