Red Demon Armor: Kote Description

"Gauntlets that have been died vermillion, in line with upper body armor in this set. This Tosei-gusoku armor was said to have been worn by Ii Naomasa, one of the four great Tokugawa commanders. Known as Ii the Red Demon (Iga no Akioni), Naomasa struck fear into the hearts of many with his elite Akazonae army, inherited from the old Takeda clan. Despite being a general, Naomasa is said to have fought on the frontlines in his signature red armor against Tokugawa Ieyasu's enemies, such as the Toyotomi, Sanada, and Hojo clans. Made from thick leather as well as thin iron plates, they fit close to the skin, ensuring unrestricted movement."
