The Defiled Castle Walkthrough

When the mission begins, head straight and go left to find a Shrine in the nook. Head the opposite way and along the balcony to find a corpse with Hamaya Arrow x1. If you keep going you will come to a double door that doesn't open. Make your way back and take the stairs to the right down and into the pool and cross it to the diagonal side and head up the stairs and take them around. You'll come to a room with a purple crystal. Destroy it and step through and make your next left and take the short steps down to a room and take out the enemy in here and head down the hall to find a corpse on the right with Dung Ball x1.

Continue down the hall and up the steps and make a right to unbar the double door to open the shortcut back to the starting area. Turn around and head back into the hallway you just came from and head right into a room with water and some shelving. Cross the room and up the steps to take out the enemy in here.

Continue into the next room to take out the spear wieding soldier and loot the large chest here. Head out this room and take the stairs down to the lower level and a Mudman will hop out. Kill it and the Dweller in the pool and loot the corpse for ??.

Head up the steps and go straight at the top. Make a right at the junction and keep going through the rooms and up the steps to the balcony and head right. Destroy the crystal cluster and the enemy here and drop down to the right on the balcony and follow it along the wall to a ladder. Head right and approach the door to speak to Ryunoshin. He will ask you to bring him more dung. 

Head right of his door and open the double doors and exit to the outside. Head up the steps and go left, right and then left taking out the enemy along the way and head towards the last left to find a set of stone steps. Take them up and you'll face a Yoki. Defeat it and open the double doors to the left to face the first boss.

 

Boss Fight: Honda Tadakatsu (Boss)

Defeat him and enter the double doors and head right. Take out the foes in this room and open the sliding door and destroy the purple crystal and head right and take the doorway on the right. Proceed forward through the next open door and head left and then head left again until you come to a staircase. Take the stairs up and head through the hallway. Take out the enemies in the room to the left and loot the large chest. Open the double sliding doors and destroy the purple crystal to the left. Head right to find a corpse with ?? and a ladder. Take the ladder up and open the double sliding doors. Defeat the Yoki inside. Head left out the room and then right.

To your right open the double sliding doors and enter the room. Straight ahead you will see a Nurikabe. Appease it with Gestures or attack it and loot the large and small chest in the next room. Find the Shrine to your right.

Head right from the shrine and take the ladder up and proceed down the hallway and open the sliding double doors on your right. You will now face the second and final boss of the mission.

 

Boss Fight: Okatsu

Defeat her and select proceed over her to trigger a packed cutscene. You will obtain the Guardian Spirit, Narikama Tanuki for your efforts.
