Usami Nagamitsu Description

"An odachi forged by the famed swordsmith Nagamitsu of the Osafune style in Bizen province (present-day southeastern Okayama prefecture). Given as a reward to Usami Masatoyo from Ashikaga Shogunate, stories persist of its sharp edge slicing through both the spears and necks of enemies who attempted to stop the blade. It eventually came to be possessed by Usami Sadamitsu, a senior vassal of the Uesugi clan, but was later presented to the family head Uesugi Sadazane, making its way to his adopted son Date Sanemoto, and later to Sanemoto's on Shigezane."
