Strategy 1 (Melee)
There are 4 phases in the fight
- Fight 1 head
- Fight 2 heads
- Building top breaks, fight ¿5? heads
- Fight 1 head
General tips
- Focus on one head at a time
- Heads only come close ( melee distance ) , after attacking. So prepare to dodge, then rush in and attack it with a high dps move.
- They suffer higly amplified elemental damage. Elemental talismans, shots, and living weapons work wonders. Melee attacks that apply high elemental damage are the best here, like mad spinner.
- Elemental projectiles are not blockable, sprinting around is a good countermeasure.
- When the third phase starts, a head will break the house top, and get stunned. Rush towards it as soon as possible and kill it
- The hardest part here is avoiding the ranged elemental attacks. Firearms and elemental damage reduction are super useful here. Tatenashi set, and a reforged armor with firearms reduction, + accessories with firearms reduction, are great
- In the third phase, kill the heads clockwise or counter clockwise. this way, there will be an emtpy space to your side to escape, with no head attacking you from there, so you are no surrounded by enemy attacks
- In the third phase, get behind crystals for cover
- In the third phase, lure heads to head-slam the crystals, doing so will stun them, but it will break the crystal
Strategy 2 (Magic)
With magic at level 65, I could destroy pretty easily the heads with 3 magic projectiles (be carefull about their resistances and weakness as written in Combat Information).Edit: At 99 Magic and with Genbu, I dealt around 75% HP of damage to a single head with a magic projectile and I dealt around 45% HP damage to the final head.

Yokai Lore / History
Kelley, after being defeated by William, uses the amrita he stored to revive Yamata-No-Orochi using his spirit, the Uroboro. It seems this transformation probably killed the original Uroboro, since there is no way to get it, or maybe he reincarneted.Notes & Trivia

I actually straight up do not understand this boss. I can't dodge through any of the attacks because the perspective is so whack. Fighting this thing with melee is so unbelievably awkward. You can run backwards to dodge the head swipes, but no matter what I do I can't dodge through the breath attack. I can brute force this fight by burning all my elixirs, but it feels so awful. This is a really messy boss fight.

So apparently Team Ninja have taken a que from Fromsoftware and made joke final bosses.

Yeah, this is a f**king joke of a boss. They were actually trolling with this one. What an absolute travesty, an utter and complete disappointment of a final boss. Gross.

This boss is *****ing terrible. It is really easy, but does not feel like a Nioh boss. It just feels like DS boss. I mean, really, really bad one. For same reason, giant skeleton and Umi something is***** as well.

This fight takes some getting used to. Don't be afraid to fall off, you can't. And while his belly looks far away, it's much nearer than you think, sword blows can reach him, no need to spam guns or bows, you can also stay near it and bait it's head slams, try to get a head to hit a rock to knock it out. You do like triple damage if you hit his head. Later you will be bombarded by a wild spam of spells. Use the rocks to protect you so only a few heads can hurt you. Most projectiles will harmlessly hit them. Some projectiles explode shortly after impact. That is fatal and may one shot you. Get moving as soon as possible if you are hit. The rest of his blows aren't so tough. The strength of throwables is greatly increased if the head is hit. Same for bullets, but only shoot if he is near death, don't waste them.

They are really weak to magic. so if your struggling up close keep a distance use the crystals as cover and use element spheres .

This boss is more impressive than hard or challenging. Big, mean, but weak. Their ranged attacks are pretty weak, each head has low HP and are easy to hit, the close combat attacks are easy to dodge and leave the heads very exposed, and you can end the final phase with just a few shots of a matchlock or hand cannon.

Once again, Late-Game magic absolutely wrecks this boss. Each head takes 3~ Shot Talismans (as long as they hit its actual head and not the body) to kill, so if you bring 9 of each and take good aim you can beat this boss without even needing Sacred Brushes. I did this at 50 magic with the Genbu Spirit.

Glitch on last two of the dragons, they just wiggle and takes no damages. Game just sucks on Status reductions on weapon and armor level.
Cannons do a real number on it. Save your ammo for the last head for an easy finish.

Be careful when doing this mission in co-op w/ torii gate currently I am stuck with a friend who we have killed 3 heads and they didn't destroy the middle arena and we are stuck between two crystals

Tricking Orochi into destroying the large amrita stones around the arena releases orbs of light that eventuall will gather and stun one head.
