Atagi Sadamune is a Weapon in Nioh.
Atagi Sadamune Description
"A katana forged by the master swordsmith Sadamune of Sagami province, apprentice to the legendary Masamune. The sword was used to slay the retainer to the Miyoshi clan, Atagi Fuyuyasa, from whom it takes its name. Toyotomi Hideyoshi conferred it to the Maeda household, after which the sword found its way into the hands of Kobayakawa Hideaki. Originally forged as a long tachi, the blade was later shortened. Atagi Sadamune also goes by the name "Mizu ni Furu Yuki", or "Snow Falling on Water".

AnonymousI'm lvl 123, have the divine Atagi from NG+ and the full Kingo Set as well (1 Piece ultra rare, the rest common to rare). I have a full divine Katana which is almost 100 attack point higher than my atagi. Question: Is the Atagi as 6th part of the Kingo's set (close combat +12) absolut necessary for the main effect (higher backdamage) or no need for atagi if an other weapon has much higher attack stats? Even if this is not a sword. Thx
