Yagyu Garb: Kinu Description

"Functional garb featuring a crested nagaki worn underneath an informal, crested coat known as a haori, it can be worn loose (by opening up the chest area, for example), in order to conceal the wearer's movements from their enemy. This clothing was worn by Yagyu Sekishusai, famous for being a master swordsman of Yamato province. Sekishusai inherited the sinkage style of sword fighting by his teacher Kamiizumi Nobutsuna. When he sustained an injury while serving under Matsunaga Hisahide and Tsutsui Junkei, he made his way back to his village with the intention of leading a life of seclusion. When later asked by Tokugawa Ieyasu to teach him the art of the sword, Sekishusai recommended his son, Munenori."

      You do not have to have a "no damage run" to get this armor text. It is completely random. I did a complete no damage run on NG and NG+ and didn't get it then I spammed it for about 20mins on NG+ and got the book and I know I got hit and had to heal at least once. Drop rate may be higher in NG+ than it is in NG though.

        You get this armor from beating yagyu in the dojo. With a no damage run you can get the text. Keep your gard up until his ki is low then hit with sheath and follow up with a hit. It's nit hard.
