Yamauba Spear Description
"A spear favoured by Sakazama Naomori of the Ukita clan. Its name comes from a legend in which the spear was taken by force from a Yamauba, a yokai with the appearance of a crone dwelling deep in the mountains, after her failed attack the spear's thief. The spear came to be possessed by the Tokugawa clan, eventually being bestowed upon Yagyu Munenori after he turned down an increase to fifty thousand "koku" of the Takatori estate in Yamato province, specifically requesting this spear instead."
