Clans are an Online feature in Nioh. They can be accessed via the Hidden Teahouse section of the main menu. In order to access the Hidden Teahouse, you need to have completed the Spider Nest Castle (Mission Level 47). By joining one of Nioh's warring clans, players earn passive benefits for use in the maingame. Improving your rank by accumulating Glory (which contributes to your clan's provisional rank) and donating, can earn you special Items.
From the Hidden Teahouse, access Clan Battles to trade Glory for Items, rare Weapons and Armor, new character skins, and Gestures.
In order to earn Clan rewards, you need to donate to them the items they specifically need. These needs can be checked from the Transfer menu.
Clans always have two requirement: a special requirement which changes by the week, and a daily requirement which changes by the day.
Clan may ask for Rifles, Armor that is above a certain rarity, a Weapon with a special trait, or sometimes they ask for one very specific Sword.
If you have these items, then they will be attributed a certain value, which counts towards the reward, and a Glory value which is inferred to you.
An item may be attributed 1 or 34 or 100 "points", with the reward being bestowed after donating 200 "points" worth of specified items to the clan.
After the reward has been handed out, the reward can be acquired again, but at a higher cost, like 350 points instead of the former 200 points.
Daily challenges will have their counters reset each day, while weekly challenges require a week before their counters reset.
Transferring to another clan will not reset challenges and will in fact impose a small penalty on both the weekly and the daily challenge.

As usual, the Wiki is completely worthless. This tells me nothing that I cannot learn in-game and some of the information is wrong.

Just saying that some of these are wrong. Shimazu, Toyotomi, Takeda, Oani, Matsunaga, Mori as well as a couple others are all white clans. I understand the game is new but just letting you know.

The Division of Clans by color needs to be removed and clans need to be listed in an alphabetic order IMO because as is now known Clan "Camp" color changes weekly.
