Unrivalled Warrior's Armor: Kote Description
"Gauntlets made with half-cylindrical iron plates connected to the arms with lacing cord known as "sukake-odoshi". The right arm features a thick iron plate for added durabilty. Part of a traditional armor set known as Tosei-gusoku in Japanese, this armor was worn by Date Shigezane, a senior vassal of the Date clan. As a follower of his first cousin Masamune, known as "The One-Eyed Dragon," Shigezane was an unstoppable force in the Siege of Koriyama and the Battle of Suriagehara. His efforts to expand the clan's forces yielded great results, and led the way for the Date to eventually take control over the entire area of Oshu (present-day Tohoku region). Shigezane's actions earned him the name the "Unrivalled Warrior"."
