A Defiled Holy Mountain Walkthrough

From the mission start head straight to find the area's first Shrine. If you turn around and head down the other path you can find a Kodama at the end to the right..

Enter the cave and defeat the enemy to the left. Proceed to the left and take out the group of foes here. Continue down the tunnel and stay to the left to head outside. Defeat the enemies here and go left around the boulder to come to an area with a shadow realm. It will reveal a Yoki. Defeat it and loot the corpses here. Take the path left to defeat a Dweller and take it around. Head right at its end and stay right to find an enemy. Loot the corpse on this ramp up and head up the ramp to encounter a ninja. Continue on and loot the corpse. Enter the cave on the right and kick the ladder down to unlock it for later. 

Keep following the path you were just on as it goes ahead and then winds to the right. You'll come to a Shrine. Head left of the shrine and up the path to find an enemy on the left. Defeat it and keep going and at the torch turn right into the tunnel and drop or take the ladder down. Ahead you will find an owl enemy.

You can head down lower by following these paths down the side of the mountain. At the bottom you'll find a Yoki and beyond a corpse with Kayaku-dama x5 and a house. Open the door and loot the corpse and small chest here for ??. Exit the house and head left and around the corner to the left to find a lost Kodama in the corner. Head back up the path on the mountain's side but look to your left for a ledge you can drop down to find another Kodama. Be wary as an enemy will attack you here.

Take the path up come to a clearing with some enemies. Defeat them and loot the corpse and head back inside the mountain. To the right you will find a ladder you can kick down for later use. Keep going along the path and stay right at the junction and then head left up the dark path to find a Yoki. 

Kill it and cross over the narrow stone bridge and head left around the bend and stay along the ledge but beware of the bats flying out of the cave on the left. There is a corpse in the nook here you can loot for Fire Amulet x1 and Kayaku-dama x1. Keep going along and at the end go left, take out the foe and take the path around to another stone bridge. You can drop down here and head outside to face a Raven Tengu. Head left up the mountain ledge path and at the top hang a sharp to take the path to the right of the triangular boulder to find a lonesome Kodama in the corner. Make an about face and take the path up and take this path ahead to the bamboo forest. 

Defeat the foe ahead and take the path through the forest left and around to the right. Loot the corpse at the end for Onmyo Mage's Hunting Gear: Joi. You can take a leap of faith here and leap to a lower ledge towards a house. Open the door and enter and loot the corpse here. You can open the next door and head outside to find a Hot Spring. Exit the house and head right and take the path to a log bridge that connects to a small hut. Defeat the enemy outside and exit the hut and continue on the path. Enter the cave ahead to reveal a shadow realm Onyudo. Defeat it and head outside and to the left around the boulder. Take out the enemy and progress ahead to the left into an open doorway into the mountain to find a Shrine. There is a Kodama just to the right of the shrine.

Head out the doorway and go left up the long steps. At the top head right into the house and defeat the warrior here. Open the double doors and step through and then open the next set of double doors and face the Boss of this mission.

Boss Fight: Ishida Mitsunari

Defeat him and stand over him to go forward. This will trigger a cutscene. You will obtain the Izuna Guardian Spirit.
