Sohaya Tsurugi Description
"A tachi forged by the famed swordsmith Miike Denta Mitsuyo of Chikugo province. Modeled after Sakanoue Tamuramaro's legendary blade, this sword was worn by the renowned shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. Tamuramaro was a famous commander from the Heian period who led the armies of powerful clans to many a great victory in far-flung provinces such as Oshu and Ezo. He also allied with the former female bandit Suzuka Gozen to defeat a demon clan that was terrorizing Mount Suzuka in Ise province, a tale still told to this day."
