Magaragiri Kanemoto Description
"A famous sword forged by the swordsmith Magoroku Kanemoto of Mino province (present—day Gifu prefecture). Its name references the Battle of Anegawa, in which Tokugawa vassal Aoki Kazushige used the blade to slay Magara Naotaka, a warrior proficient with an odachi five shaku (approximately five feet) in length, and his son Takamoto. The sword is also known by the name Aoki Kanemoto. Kazushige gave the sword to his son Kaneyuki, with Niwa Nagashige receiving it thereafter. ."
