The Watcher in Darkness Walkthrough

This sub mission is basically designed around gathering up the 4 Kodama present in the mission. When the mission begins, pray at the first Shrine. Go left and past the red arch. Eventually you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left one and continue down the path. 

At the end you'll come to another fork. Take the fork right and follow it down until you come to a ledge with a ladder. Take the ladder down to come to an open field. Defeat the enemies here and make a left at the second corner. Smash the boxes to find the Kodama.

Head across the field to come to a ladder. Defeat the One-Eyed Oni and take the ladder up. At the top, head right and go down the hall. Take a left at the first corner and follow it down until you get to a wooden hall. Head right down the hall and make another right to find the next Kodama but be mindful of the spear warrior. Defeat it and take the ladder back to the center field. As you descend head right and go down the left path. You'll come to a Shrine.

Head back to the fork and go right and down a set of stairs with lanterns. Take them to a lit area. At the first house head right and look under the stairs for the next Kodama.

Make your way back to the front of the first house and now head left. Go through the stone wall passage to find a Shrine on the right. Proceed ahead to the tunnel. Head down the stairs to a dead end where you will find the final Kodama. Once you've found it, return to the first house and enter it to challenge the Boss of this mission.
